Dragoș Ilie aims to analyze whether technology is an engine of social mobility, whether the simple fact of learning how to use a computer puts you in a better socio-economic position than that of your parents in the past. Dragos believes that digital technology causes economic or behavioral changes in individuals, such as the scale of e-commerce, the number of people connected to the Internet, or the number of smartphones. According to him, the effects of this penetration of technology into society are more subtle and require a much more careful approach than “technology is bad”.
